Category A
Debris removal
For contractors. Debris haulers, monitors, temporary debris-storage contractors, and vegetative or construction-and-demolition processors. Volume and haul distance drive the work — not a posted bid yet.
What RebuildAlert emails. RebuildAlert emails newly obligated Category A worksheets with project title, federal share, county, disaster, and the applicant mailing address so you can introduce yourself to the city or county that will procure removal.
Questions
- Which categories does RebuildAlert watch?
- Categories A through G: debris, emergency protective measures, roads and bridges, water control, buildings and equipment, utilities, and parks or other. Category Z management costs are ignored.
- Will I get a bid packet in the email?
- No. RebuildAlert is not a bid board and not SAM.gov. You get the obligated worksheet fields and the applicant mailing address so you can introduce yourself to the buyer.
- Can I filter a paid watch to one category?
- Yes. Saved watches store the filters you set, including category and geography. Starter covers one state; Pro covers the country. See pricing.
